Kicking off the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival, Dakota Fanning was spotted arriving at the Vanity Fair party on Tuesday evening (April 17).
The 18-year-old actress made a show stopping entrance in a bright magenta dress with nude heels as she posed for the awaiting photographers outside of the State Supreme Courthouse venue.
For this year’s festival, Dakota is not just there as a spectator, but as one of the 39 prestigious jurors who will help decide on the winners of awards including, Best Narrative Feature, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and Best Actor and Actress.
Other industry greats including Susan Sarandon, Whoopi Goldberg and Michael Moore will help Fanning with the honors and you can get in on the action yourself when the festival kicks off tomorrow (April 18) in New York City and runs through April 29.
