With so many Americans hitting the polls today, it's no surprise that celebrities are also making their voices heard in the 2012 election. Regardless of who they're voting for, it's clear that the overall message these A-listers want everyone to take away is "I voted and I'm proud!" And they hope their fans go out and do the same.
"American Idol" judge Mariah Carey tweeted a photo of herself in line to vote. "The voting continues!" she wrote.
While they've reportedly been feuding on the "Idol" set, Nicki Minaj was on the same page as Carey today, tweeting about her fans' enthusiasm to vote: "Beyond proud of your passion to let your voice be heard. Happy Election Day."
Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar and more rep for hip-hop kings who vote.
Some celebrities tried to spread the message to vote by encouraging fans to rock their finest couture when they hit the polls. Mindy Kaling tweeted, "What did you wear when you voted? Electoral sartorial!"
Katy Perry had a similar message for her fans, writing, "Who's ready to vote tomorrow? I've got my outfit laid out! Send me a photo of your outfit when you're at the polls, and I'll RT my faves!"
Pink simply wrote, "I VOTED. Feels so good!!!"
Ahead of interviewing the POTUS on his radio show, Ryan Seacrest also placed his vote, tweeting, "Ballot filled out, just gotta drop it off after work. #ivoted #almost."
Many celebrities were proud to wave their "I Voted" swag once they hit the polls. "Awkward." star Brett Davern shared, "Just voted! I even have the sticker to prove it! I hope you do too #GoVote."

"Pretty Little Liars" star Troian Bellisario also tweeted out a picture of her sticker, writing, "I did. Did you?!"
"Hunger Games" actor and musician Lenny Kravitz proudly waved his sticker after he hit the polls, tweeting, "I voted. Go #vote."
In addition to posting photos of herself with her ballot on her Tumblr, Beyoncé also got political, penning an open letter to President Obama ahead of Tuesday's big Election Day.
Jay-Z, Bruce Springsteen stump for Obama in Ohio.
Bryan Greenberg, who penned the political song "Generations," hit the polls and made his vote count. He wrote, "Supported Obama 4 years ago and I'm excited to vote for him again today!"
The Kardashians might be living it up in Miami filming another season of their E! show, but Kourtney and Kim made sure they voted, even if it was by absentee ballot. Kim tweeted out a photo of her ballot, writing, "I'm filling out my voting card in a room filled w people, everyone is telling me their opinions! Vote how YOU want to vote & what YOU believe in not anybody else."

While Justin Bieber is finally old enough to vote, there's a little something holding him back. "im 18...but i cant vote...im Canadian," he tweeted.
But many of his pals are voting, including "As Long as You Love Me" collaborator Big Sean, who wrote, "I voted guys! #OBAMA2012 Make sure you vote too. It's the most important thing to get done this week!"
Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, had a little fun when opening up about his voting experience: "ELECTION DAY tomorrow. Big Decision. Im going with TEAM JACOB."
