Kelly Clarkson had a weekend as massive as her brand-new engagement ring. For those who may have missed it, she managed to cram in a lot in two days, including a headline-making engagement and a dazzling performance during "VH1 Divas."
On Saturday, she announced her plans to wed beau Brandon Blackstock, tweeting, "I'M ENGAGED!!!!! I wanted y'all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever." Blackstock and Clarkson had been dating for nearly a year when he proposed to her ahead of the Christmas holiday.
Then, one day later, her engagement news was celebrated once again during "VH1 Divas" on Sunday. Clarkson kicked off the night of performances, but before she even stepped onto the stage, her just-announced engagement was already playing a big part in the show.

When presenter Ellie Kemper walked out to welcome the singer to the show, she noted, "The first female diva of tonight has got all the three things a diva should always have: A big voice, big dance anthems and now a big ol' engagement ring on her hand. Please welcome to 'VH1 Divas' the newly engaged and amazingly talented Kelly Clarkson."

While Clarkson's big voice was certainly on full display during her performance of her single "Catch My Breath," so was her impressive canary diamond. Standing in front of a full band, Clarkson belted out the track off her Greatest Hits - Chapter release, which she dropped last month, ever so often smiling as she sang lyrics like "Addicted to the love I found/ Heavy heart, now a weightless cloud."

For fans who might have been watching the show and wondered all about that rock, she tweeted all about it (including a lovely close-up photo of it), giving fans some inside scoop on the ring. She wrote, "Everyone has been asking about my engagement ring, so here it is :) It's a yellow canary diamond with diamonds around it and Brandon designed it with Johnathon Arndt! They did an amazing job! I can't wait to make Brandon's ring with Johnathon as well!"
