Sheza Heartbreakerwas a clear second in latest but is tough to like given 3-for-33 career record. Lawless Missships in from Jersey for sharp Goldberg barn; has won two of four career turf tries. 4. Twice the Ladyhasn't started since Aug. 18 but shows a string of works leading up to this; Castellano takes the call. Fantasy of Flightmoves into the Rick Dutrow barn, which is 27% with new acquisitions; top threat. Geeky Gorgeoushas won three of last four at Monmouth; fits with these.
5. The West Rimwas nailed on the wire in return when a nose short; the one to beat for Chad Brown. Memories Madetakes the blinkers off after failing as the chalk in most recent; appears best of the rest. Centrinaexits same heat as the top choice when third; owns six wins over this course.
6. National Prayershowed some ability in debut at Saratoga before tiring to sixth; adds the blinkers. Quinby Petehas been second best in both career outings, including latest as the favorite; can atone. Brother Bobgoes first time off the Rick Dutrow claim (33%). Acclaimdrilled two bullets for this at Monmouth.
7. Malibu Holidaywon for fun in latest at Presque Isle Downs over the synthetic; didn't run bad in lone turf try when a close fifth. Irish Weddingwas caught late going longer in latest; cuts back and should be involved from the start. Market Princesshas been second in both turf tries; consider. DIRT SELECTIONS: Raquel, Coast of Sangria.
8. Free as a Birddrew off to break maiden by over seven in turf debut; gets call to take another. Zultanitehas been in deep in recent starts; switches to Rosario and can rebound. Island Schoolhas been second best in both grass tries over this course. Antonia Autumndraws a tough post but has to be considered under Dominguez. DIRT SELECTIONS: Island School, Glorietta Bay.
9. English Majoradds blinkers going first time off the Rice claim (20%); 2-for-2 at this distance. See Me Proudfailed to fire in off-the-turfer in last but just missed two back on the grass. Adirondack Dancerhas won two of five career turf tries. DIRT SELECTIONS: Truetap, Romancing the Gold.
