Diddy has proven to be resilient within the music industry, and the entertainment mogul is also recovering just fine after he sustained a few minor injuries in a car accident in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The accident happened after a car attempted a left turn in front of Diddy's SUV, causing both vehicles to collide. When cops arrived at the scene, both Diddy and his driver, plus passengers in the other car, complained of pain, but it was not immediately clear how much damage was done.
On Thursday (October 25), a spokesperson for Diddy issued a statement to MTV News, confirming that he's receiving treatment following the accident. "Sean Combs sustained multiple injuries in yesterday's car accident including to his neck, ribs and collarbone. He is currently receiving treatment for these injuries from his physicians and would like to thank all of his fans for the outpouring of support that he has received since the accident."
Russell Simmons was one of the first to break news of Diddy's accident, tweeting, "Glad to hear my man Puff is ok..." And it seems like the Bad Boy CEO is still in good spirits following the accident, as he took to his own Twitter account Thursday to share one quick message: "Woah...that was a close one!"
Although he needs some recovery time, it's doubtful this will keep Diddy away from work for too long. In the past couple of weeks, he's been actively promoting the work of his latest Bad Boy signee, Machine Gun Kelly. MGK released his debut album, Lace Up, last week, and just one day before the crash, Diddy was encouraging fans to check out the album's accompanying documentary.
