Rapper Lil Reese hasn’t denied that the footage shows him beating a woman. Instead, he has criticized those who posted it as “bored” and “broke” detractors who uploaded something “from years ago.”
Hell hath no fury like a rapper scorned.
Chicago rapper Lil Reese lit up Twitter on Thursday after an amateur cellphone video of the "Traffic" singer beating up a young woman began to make its rounds on the Internet.
Reese, who is best known for his association with Glory Boys Entertainment emcees Chief Keef and Lil Durk, didn't deny that the assailant in the clip was him, instead taking to Twitter to lash out at people who posted the video in the first place.
"The haters tryna see a mf Dwn lol Dey gotta b broke and bored wanna upload sum sh-t from years ago damnn we winnin it's 2 late," he wrote Thursday.

In the video, a young man in a red hoodie - presumably Lil Reese - gets into a heated argument with a young woman at a house party.
The woman appears visibly upset as she starts yelling, "Who the f--k let them in here?"
As the hoodie-clad youngster moves toward her and begins swinging at her face, she retorts, "Boy, don't push me, and if you want that, you can get that. But ... keep your hands to yourself though."
Lil Reese then lights into the woman, punching her in the head and then stomping on her after she falls to the ground.
The other people in the room stand idly by as the violence happens.
Online, fans of the rapper expressed their varying opinions, causing his name to trend on Twitter.
"Yo that video of Lil Reese literally stomping on a female is disturbing," one user wrote.
"The chick who got uppercut by the bus driver deserved it, but Lil Reese went overboard," another piped in.
One user even compared the rapper's attack to Chris Brown's infamous 2009 pre-Grammy rampage, during which he beat then-girlfriend Rihanna up, leaving her bruised and battered.
"Will Lil Reese be forgiven like Chris Brown? Doubt it," he wrote.
