'I was like, 'Woah, that's Eminem,' you know? He's mad famous,' Mac tells Hot 97 about meeting Detroit MC.

Meeting Eminem can be pretty intimidating. Not only has the award-winning Detroit rap god sold an unbelievable number of albums, his multisyllabic lyrics provide mounds of inspiration for a whole generation of rappers. No wonder Mac Miller was in awe when he met Marshall for the first time in August.
"To be real, that was, like, the only time I've ever been low-key. I was really smiley. I was like, 'Woah, that's Eminem,' you know? He's mad famous," Mac Miller told Hot 97 DJs Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg during their Juan Epstein podcast about meeting Em in Japan.
Mac, whose arm was in a cast after an injury he suffered while on the Under the Influence of Music tour with Wiz Khalifa and Kendrick Lamar, immediately hit it off with Slim Shady. "So I was wearing my cast, and Em comes out, and he was super funny. He walks out and he's like, 'So, what happened to your hand,' " Miller recalled. "And I was like, 'I broke it. I punched a door.' And he was like, 'That's pretty f---ing sweet.' And then we chopped it up for a little bit."
Back in August, the Blue Slide Park MC went to Instagram and sent out a pic of him and the iconic MC, both posed with their thumbs up, with the caption "yup."
As of now it doesn't seem that the two rappers will be working together, though Mac admitted that he wishes had more time to talk to Em so he can get some career advice.
