As if doing flips on stage weren't dangerous enough, the brand new winners of "So You Think You Can Dance" showed off their wild acrobatics yesterday ... IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET ... and it was all caught on tape.
Eliana Girard and Chehon Wespi-Tschopp -- who just won "SYTYCD" Season 9 -- joined their dancer friend in an L.A. crosswalk, showing off some impressive aerial maneuvers ... while the street was filled with traffic.
The video's pretty awesome -- the guys even bust out some 'Gangnam Style' moves ... like it's still three weeks ago.
