One Direction are kicking off the release of their sophomore album, Take Me Home, with a one-two punch: the lead single, "Live While We're Young," and the accompanying video. A lo-fi version of the song and video were leaked to the Net on Thursday (September 20), so the fivesome decided to drop the high-quality clip and single to give fans the full experience ahead of the song's scheduled October 1 release.

"We wanted our fans to see the video and hear the single in the proper way so we've moved the premiere to tonight," they said in a statement. "We're really excited about 'Live While We're Young.' We've worked really hard on it, and we can't wait for everyone to see and hear it later today!"

They shot the video for the catchy single last month in England, with on-set photos of the group getting splashed with water hitting the Web. The camping-themed clip matches the song's feel-good, bouncy vibe.

The release has been met with lots of buzz. One Direction recently dropped the art for the single, which coincidentally features the guys camping. The song was written by Rami Yacoub, Carl Falk and Savan Kotecha, who also worked with the guys on their hits "What Makes You Beautiful" and "One Thing."

Their sophomore release, Take Me Home, arrives November 13. The album is the follow-up to their debut, Up All Night, which they dropped Stateside in March and debuted at the top of the charts.
